MEET
OUR NEW PASTOR AND HIS FAMILY
Dave
Franks, Jr., wife: Becky Coxwell Franks, daughters: Beth and
Celeste, son: Nathan
Dave and Becky
graduated from Free Will Baptist Bible College.

They met there and
were married August 18, l985.

Since Becky had
another year of college, they stayed in the Nashville area for two
more years after Dave graduated and worked as Children's Church
Directors at First FWB Church in Portland, TN.

After a summer in
Brazil as summer missionaries, they moved to Corning, AR, where
Brother Dave was pastor at Faith FWB Church. It is here that
the Lord blessed them with Beth and Nathan.

In August of 1990,
Dave and Becky were appointed as FWB missionaries to Uruguay, a
small country between Brazil and Argentina.

They worked in the
"suburb" of Malvin in Montevideo, a city of a million and
a half people. Celeste was born in 1996.

They served as
missionaries until December of 2000.
In June of 2001,
the family moved to Madison, AL and spent a year trying to start a
Bible Institute for Hispanics with the FWB Home Mission Board.

They lived in Madison for six years before moving to Gardendale.
Brother Dave
Franks, Jr. is the son of former FWB missionaries, Dave and Pat
Franks. He was saved at eight years old, after talking with
his father about sin and forgiveness.

Becky is the daughter
of Tom and Betty Coxwell. Brother Coxwell has been a pastor
for about 42 years. You may recognize Becky as Sylvia
Martin's "YOUNGER" sister.

Beth and Nathan
are now attending Free Will Baptist Bible College. Celeste is
in the 5th grade.

The family is
looking forward to ministering at Oak Grove Free Will Baptist
Church. If you have a need, please let them know how they can
be of service to you.
Associate
Pastor's Page
Steven
Martin has been named our Associate
Pastor. He and his wife
Serena have two precious children – Tyler and Katelyn. We are looking forward to God
blessing Brother Steven and Sister Serena in their ministry with
us.

Brother
Steven and his dear wife, Serena have been a great blessing to
us. Brother Steven has preached some excellent sermons.
We are so proud of him. Sister Serena has been teaching a
Ladies Bible Study on Monday nights - what
an excellent job! All of this is in addition to working with
our youth. We are thankful to have them as part of our church
family.
